A 53-year-old man accused of punching and stabbing a woman in Manhasset Saturday is facing charges, according to police.
Authorities say Carlos Mullings committed the assault after getting into an argument with the 30-year-old victim at a home on Pond Hill Road.
He allegedly hit her in the jaw and used a sharp object to inflict multiple puncture wounds on her left arm.
Police say he was arrested without incident and the woman was hospitalized.
Mullings is set to be arraigned Sunday in Hempstead.
