Police say a man has been arrested after attacking three police officers following a traffic stop.
Lynbrook police say they pulled over Jose Ponce-Castro, 26, on Peninsula Boulevard and Olive Place last night.
According to police, when they tried to arrest the Long Beach man for DWI, he punched the officers.
One was taken to the hospital for injuries to his shoulder, leg and arm.
Ponce-Castro is facing charges including assault, DWI and obstruction of government administration.
