A man accused of damaging five new Tesla vehicles Sunday at the Roosevelt Field mall is facing criminal mischief charges.

Nassau police say 83-year-old Victor Divergilio used a sharp object to make deep scratches on the vehicles in the parking lot.

He inflicted $23,000 worth of damage, according to authorities.

Following an investigation, detectives arrested Divergilio at his residence without incident.

He will be arraigned Wednesday in Hempstead.
