About 15 plastic bags containing Ku Klux Klan recruitment flyers were distributed to homeowners in Hampton Bays, according to Southampton town police.
They say the bags were found dumped on driveways and lawns along Kings Street on Sunday.
Police say the leaflets contained multiple references to the KKK and other hateful rhetoric.
Similar white supremacist flyers have been spotted in the past in Suffolk, including in areas like Calverton, Babylon and Patchogue.
Most recently, flyers that read "White Lives Matter" were found in July on several blocks in Center Moriches.
Anyone with information on the latest flyers is asked to call Southampton town detectives at 631-702-2230.
