Police: Islandia man arrested for 14 storage facility burglaries

The businesses he is accused of stealing from include Public Storage in Nesconset and Hauppauge, as well as Extra Space Storage in Islandia and Bohemia.

An Islandia man was arrested for burglarizing four storage facility businesses a total of 14 times over the past year.
Police say 42-year-old Christopher Lacker entered the storage units, cut the locks and stole property inside multiple businesses between Dec. 7 of 2022 and Nov. 9 of 2023.
The businesses he is accused of stealing from include Public Storage in Nesconset and Hauppauge, as well as Extra Space Storage in Islandia and Bohemia.
Lacker is set to face a judge on Sunday morning.
