A man was charged in court Tuesday after allegedly crashing into several cars while intoxicated and driving away in North Lindenhurst.
Officials say 22-year-old Tyler Bravo, of Massapequa, was high on drugs while driving on Straight Path and Wellwood Avenue when he hit two occupied cars around 11:30 p.m. Monday. One person was injured.
After that, police say he drove another half-mile to 48th Street and Copiague Road and hit another six parked cars.
Bravo allegedly kept driving his black Ram pickup truck down 48th Street before crashing at the dead end. He was later arrested.
Bravo was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. The judge suspended his license.
Bravo was arrested on DWI charges in February. That case is still pending.
He is due back in court later this month.
