Officials say several people were hurt after a woman accidentally drove into a building in Woodbury.

The incident happened Monday at 5 p.m. on Crossways Park Drive.

Police say the 47-year-old woman driving a Dodge Durango was leaving the driveway across the street when she accidentally accelerated and drove across the road, hitting the building.

Police say two people in the building suffered minor injuries, one was taken to the hospital. 

The Town of Oyster Bay building inspector responded to evaluate the building.
