An illegal gun was seized minutes after a shooting in Freeport Sunday morning, according to police.

An illegal gun was seized minutes after a shooting in Freeport Sunday morning, according to police.
Police say they found a loaded 9 mm after they stopped a car early Sunday.
Three men inside the vehicle were arrested.
Police say the suspects were seen speeding from Main Street and Leonard Avenue, where a shooting had just been detected by the county's ShotSpotter system.
Police have not said if the two incidents are connected.
