Police have released the identity of a man facing charges after a violent police standoff in Farmingdale.
Officials say that last night,  22-year-old Franco Pinan-Solorzano, of Copiague, barricaded himself in his car in the parking lot of the Black Forest Brew Haus.
They say after a four-hour standoff, Solorzano shot himself in the shoulder.
Police were there earlier when they say Solorzano shot his girlfriend in the hand and hip.
Officials say she was trying to wrestle away his gun so he wouldn't hurt himself.
