Police are investigating a hit-and-run in Long Beach that left a man with severe injuries Sunday.
They say a man was entering his parked car around 5:30 a.m. Sunday on Riverside Boulevard near East Hudson Street when he was hit by a vehicle. Officials say the impact caused him to strike his head and face against another parked car.
They say that the driver who hit him never stopped.
The victim is listed in extremely critical condition with multiple fractures and severe head trauma.
