A Hicksville man was arrested for allegedly bringing 50,000 knock-off North Face coats into the country from Bangladesh.
Officials say Haryash Paul was selling the coats -- worth about $2 million -- out of two businesses that he owns.
Paul was arrested during a sting involving the Nassau County district attorney and federal authorities.
Prosecutors say the North Face logos were covered up with other patches and then later ripped off in an effort to sneak them past authorities. Paul was allegedly stashing the counterfeit merchandise in a Hicksville warehouse.
If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
