Neighborhood complaints led police to raid a Riverhead home Monday afternoon and arrest a man and woman on drug charges.
Richard Kayte, 37, and Charlene Crump, 60, who live in the home located at 47 Hinda Blvd.
According to court records, members of the East End Drug Task Force carried out a search warrant and found heroin, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia, including materials and items to cut, process and package heroin.
Kayte was arraigned Tuesday in Riverhead court. He was charged with intent to sell and possession of heroin and cocaine. He was held without bail.
Crump was charged with possession and received a desk appearance ticket.
Riverhead Town Supervisor Laura Jens-Smith says neighbors tipped off police to the alleged drug activity.
In February, neighbor complaints also led the East End Drug Task Force to another home in Riverhead, on Oakland Drive North, where four people were arrested.
