Police: Hempstead man stole parking meters near Jericho Turnpike and Roslyn Road

A Hempstead man was arrested Wednesday for stealing parking meters around Nassau County, police say.
Marvin O Morejon Flores, 35, was found committing the crimes in the vicinity of Roslyn Road and Jericho Turnpike.
Flores is charged with nine counts of grand larceny in connection to the incidents.
Following an investigation, police say Flores had two open warrants out for his arrest, including violating his probation.
