The FBI, Suffolk and Nassau cops and Boston police are on a massive hunt for a 7-year-old girl allegedly kidnapped by her father in Boston.
According to police, 48-year-old Clark Rockefeller kidnapped his daughter Reigh and may be on Long Island, trying to get out of the U.S. According to officials, he may be trying to get to Bermuda on a 70-foot yacht from somewhere on the Island. Officials say Rockefeller took his daughter during a supervised visit in Massachusetts Sunday.
The Coast Guard suspended its search Monday, however, it alerted all marinas along the Long Island Sound to be on the lookout for Rockefeller, his daughter and his boat.
Superintendent Bruce Holloway, of the Boston Police Department, says the father and daughter were last seen Monday night near Grand Central Station.
Rockefeller is wanted for custodial kidnapping as well as assault and battery charges. Authorities say Rockefeller dragged a social worker with his vehicle as she tried to stop him from taking his daughter.
Police say Rockefeller goes by several aliases, including Michael Brown. Those at the Oyster Bay Constable say if Rockefeller is on a 70-foot yacht, police and the Coast Guard will definitely be able to spot him.
