A Farmingdale man has been arrested and is accused of striking the doors of a building with a knife in Uniondale.

Nassau police say 49-year-old Sami Issa pulled into a parking lot on Uniondale Avenue in a white van.

Police say Issa got out and then started striking the front doors of the building with a knife.

News 12 has been told Issa caused around $1,000 worth of damage and left the scene. 

Witnesses got the van's information and called police.

Issa is facing criminal mischief charges and is due in court next week.
