Police are trying to determine if a brazen armed gas station robbery in Merrick Monday is connected to a larger spree.
Surveillance pictures were taken of the robbery in progress at the Mobil station on Merrick Road in Merrick.
Police say a man pulled out a handgun on the clerk, and ran off with more than $700.
Meanwhile, officials are still looking for a man wanted in a string of 14 gas station robberies across Long Island.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
