Police believe the same gunman may be behind two gas station robberies in Nassau.
Around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, police say a man with a silver handgun held up the Ultra gas station on Hempstead Turnpike and Gardiners Avenue in Levittown. No one was hurt during the incident.
Police say around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, a man with a gun held up the nearby OK Petroleum station on Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh.
Authorities say the male suspect is a 6 feet 2 inches tall. In both robberies, the suspect was wearing dark clothing, a bandana over his face and white gloves.
