Police say they found an elderly woman and a man dead in a Lakeview home after an apparent murder-suicide Friday.

As News 12 previously reported, detectives were called to Myrna Drive just after 1:30 p.m. on reports of a dispute at the home.

Police say when officers arrived at the scene, they heard two gunshots from inside.

News 12 is told that officers found a 91-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man dead.

Officials say it appears the man shot the woman before turning the gun on himself.

The incident also triggered a lockdown at Cornwell Elementary School.
