Police say the suspect behind four armed robberies in Suffolk County was arrested inside his Ronkonkoma home. 

Authorities say Daniel Flinn has an extensive criminal history with multiple felonies. They believe he was behind a string of robberies at a Rite Aid in Huntington Station, Burger King in Farmingville, 7-Eleven in Islandia and a Dunkin' Donuts in Hauppauge. 

Investigators say Flinn, who was out on parole, has a serious drug problem. 

"Shooting up 50 times a day gets expensive," said Suffolk Police Commissioner Tim Sini. "He chose to rob commercial establishments in Suffolk County and the Suffolk County Police Department brought him to justice."

Police say they noticed a pattern with all of the robberies. They say Flinn, who has a tattoo on his right hand, would walk in, flash a gun and demand all the money from the register.

After viewing surveillance video from each of the robberies, police arrested him at his Ronkonkoma home. Investigators say he was hiding inside the ceiling when they arrived. They recovered an imitation gun. 

Police say Flinn will be entered into treatment for his addiction while in custody. He faces armed robbery charges, but more charges could be added on.
