Long Islanders soak up the last of the summer at Jones Beach

A driver was left in critical condition after crashing into the back of a tractor-trailer on Friday night in Roslyn.

Police say the 29-year-old man was driving eastbound on Northern Boulevard just after 11:30 p.m. when he rammed into the back of the tractor trailer.

The man is now in critical condition, according to authorities. The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries.
