A woman hit three stores and a tree with her car Saturday morning on Main Street in Smithtown.

Police say the incident occurred at around 5 a.m. The street had to be blocked off for several hours.

The driver was hospitalized for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to authorities. No charges have been filed.
