A driver was rear-ended on the Long Island Expressway and then had his BMW stolen from him at gunpoint early on Monday morning, according to police.
Police say the incident took place just after midnight by Exit 36 in North Hills. The victim, a 22-year-old man, was pulled over to the shoulder after being hit.
Law enforcement officials say at least four people got out of the car containing the suspects that stole the car. One of those men had a gun and forced the driver out of the car before the suspects drove off in both cars.
