A 31-year-old East Patchogue man was killed Thursday night in a dirt bike crash, according to authorities.
Police say Noe Morann Contreras was riding on Americus Avenue when he lost control and hit a pole at around 8 p.m. He was then taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
It is unclear why Contreras lost control of the dirt bike. Authorities say the incident remains under investigation.
