A Shoreham teen's quick thinking on Friday afternoon helped police catch a burglary suspect.
Police say a 16-year-old was home alone on Columbia Court when a man knocked on the door. When the teen didn't answer, they claim the suspect entered the home.
Officials say while the burglar rummaged through the house, the teen called 911 and described a car sitting in his driveway.
Police arrested Corey Hartmann down the road in connection with the burglary.
