Police: Car drives into Plainview dance studio; 3 suffer minor injuries

Nassau County police responded to a car that drove into a Plainview dance studio Thursday evening, that resulted in minor injuries to three people.
It happened at Strut Your Stuff Dance Studio on 139 Central Park Road at 4:55 p.m.
The owner of the studio, who did not want to appear on camera, told News 12 that children are usually in the lobby area, but fortunately, most of them were in the back of the studio when the car drove through the storefront.
Police say none of the dance students were injured. Those who were hurt suffered minor cuts and were transported to the hospital.
The dance studio has been a fixture in the community for nearly 20 years. The owner says it will take some time to reopen, but she plans to be back in business.
