Police say they've arrested a Sea Cliff sexual predator.

Ronald Stein, a 45-year-old FDNY paramedic, was picked up Thursday. Stein is charged with promoting and possessing sexual performance pictures of a child.

Police say they were tipped off by a 14-year-old boy who had been chatting with Stein on the Internet. The boy told authorities he thought he was talking to another teenager at first.

According to police, Stein tried to arrange a meeting with the boy. The teen then contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Following the tip, authorities descended on Stein's home and allegedly found pornographic images of children. A family member of Stein's told News 12 Long Island someone stole his screen name and set him up.

Stein is due back in court Friday.
