Police: Bus driver involved in school trip tragedy identified as Centereach woman
New York State Police have identified the driver as Lisa Schaffer, 59, of Centereach.

3h agoPolice have identified the driver in last week’s bus accident that killed two members of the Farmingdale school community.
New York State Police have identified the driver as Lisa Schaffer, 59, of Centereach.
Police say five students who were critically injured are all recovering.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
