A man dressed as a hospital worker stole cash and personal property inside St. Francis Hospital Sunday afternoon, police say.
In surveillance video, the man can be seen walking into the Roslyn hospital. Police say the man then used a stolen ID card to enter a staff lounge and change into hospital scrubs. From there, he allegedly opened multiple offices and stole cash and an Amazon Kindle.
It wasn't until Tuesday that someone noticed that items were missing. The police were then notified about the theft.
Anyone who recognizes the man are asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
