A Brooklyn man is accused of starting a violent spree in Nassau County that ended with an officer being attacked.

Police say Julian Lynch, 28, was left by his friends at the Baldwin Bowling Center at 3 a.m. without a ride home.

Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder tells News 12 this sparked what appears to be an angry spree resulting in violence.

Lynch allegedly left the location on foot and damaged two building and a car mirror.

He then walked to a 7-Eleven on Merrick Road, got in a verbal argument with an employee before allegedly going around the counter and punching the employee several times, causing his to lose consciousness, according to police.

When he left there, police say Lynch continued foot to a Rockville Centre CVS, got into another argument with an employee and demanded his belongings.

Ryder says police then arrived and Lynch punched an officer in the eye.

Both victims in the incident were taken to the hospital. The officer is on leave because his eye is swollen shut.

Lynch is set to be arraigned in Hempstead on Saturday.
