Police: Bridgeport man arrested for robbing Fairfield convenience store

Police say that Wesner Thelamour stole an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in the incident.

A Bridgeport man accused of robbing a Fairfield convenience store earlier this month has been arrested, police say.

Wesner Thelamour was arrested on Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery that happened on March 2 at News Express on Tunxis Hill Road. Police say that Thelamour stole an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured in the incident.

Thelamour was charged with robbery and firearm larceny. He is being held on a $175,000 bond and is expected in court on Thursday.

Thelamour was previously arrested on March 10 for allegedly using an illegal gun in the incident.
