Officials say a body was found early this morning washed up on the shore in Long Beach.

The discovery comes about two days after a 30-year-old Irish traveler, Neil Gibbons, went missing.

Gibbons was swimming in the water with two friends around 2 a.m. Monday when he became distressed and vanished.

His body has not been found.

There is no word on if the body is Gibbons.
