Police say a body was found in a creek on the North Fork yesterday.
Southold Town Police tell News 12 the body of a man was found in Goose Creek around 3:15 p.m.
According to police, a local who was out on his boat made the gruesome discovery.
Police say they have not determined a cause of death yet and are not releasing the man's identity.
News 12 has been told a man was reported missing in the area over the weekend, but there is no word if it is the same man.
