Police say just before 4:30 p.m., they were called to Montauk Highway between Scherger and Donegan avenues due to the incident.
They say a cyclist was struck by a vehicle that was heading west. The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
Police did not disclose details about any possible criminal charges.
