Police: Bicyclist fatally struck by vehicle in Lake Grove

Police say one person was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Lake Grove.
The incident happened at the intersection at Middle Country Road and New Moriches Road near the Smith Haven Mall.
Police responded to a 911 call just before 2 a.m.
The victim has been identified as Peter Ferntinos, 61, of Nesconset. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
So far there is no word if there are any charges in the case.
