Police are asking for the public’s help to catch a purse snatcher who got away with a lot more than she probably expected.
Officials released pictures of the woman they say stole a wallet containing a woman's engagement and wedding rings. They say she stole the purse from the Bay Shore Hobby Lobby in March.

The victim's credit card was later used at a Brentwood GameStop.
Police are offering a cash reward in the case.
Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
