Police: Arson suspected in fires that damaged cars and houses in New Cassel

Officials say firefighters put out the flames of two vehicles in a driveway on Sixth Street before the flames spread to the house.

Police launched an arson investigation after three fires left four cars and two houses damaged in New Cassel on Saturday night.

Officials say firefighters put out the flames of two vehicles in a driveway on Sixth Street before the flames spread to the house.

They say there were two more fires over the next two hours within a quarter of a mile from the scene.

Police say no one was injured.

No arrests had been made as of Saturday night.
