Police have arrested the stepson of a Valley Stream woman who was found in a dumpster last month.
William Tracey, 26, denies he had anything to do with the murder of his stepmother, 42-year-old Denise Tracey. Prosecutors say in the early morning hours of March 29 Tracey brutally beat Denise at their Valley Stream home and then left her body in a dumpster behind a nearby strip mall.
Police say Tracey's father, Paul Tracey, was home at the time his wife was allegedly killed, but didn't hear anything because their bedroom is two floors up.
