Police arrest man who allegedly stole thousands in merchandise from mall

Police say a Hempstead man stole more than $1,000 in merchandise from stores at the Roosevelt Field Mall. They say Henry Cabezas also stole $6,000 worth of merchandise from the Perfume Point Kiosk

Police say a Hempstead man stole more than $1,000 in merchandise from stores at the Roosevelt Field Mall.
They say Henry Cabezas also stole $6,000 worth of merchandise from the Perfume Point Kiosk last month.
Detectives say the 50-year-old had been banned from the mall. 
Cabezas was arrested when officers spotted him leaving one of the stores.
