Police say a man was arrested for an attempted burglary in Russell Gardens near Great Neck.

According to police, a 72-year-old woke up to find a man inside his home.

Police say the victim saw Curtis Slyke just outside his bedroom early Monday morning on Wensley Drive.

News 12 was told Slyke grabbed something before running out of the house.

The 29-year-old is also accused of two other attempted burglaries – one in Russel Garden and another in Great Neck.
