Police: 6-year-old ejected from motorcycle in Central Islip, seriously injured

Police say Lamar Samuel, 39, was riding a motorcycle with a 6-year-old boy Monday afternoon when Samuel ran a stop sign, hitting a Honda headed northbound on Prospect Avenue.

A 6-year-old boy was seriously injured Monday when he was ejected from a motorcycle in Central Islip.
Police say Lamar Samuel, 39, was riding a motorcycle with a 6-year-old boy Monday afternoon when Samuel ran a stop sign, hitting a Honda headed northbound on Prospect Avenue.
Police say Samuel and the child were both thrown off the bike. The 6-year-old was seriously injured.
Samuel is now charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
