Police: $50K in jewelry stolen from Lindenhurst home

Police are searching for whoever stole $50,000 worth of jewelry from a Lindenhurst home.
The missing pieces include a diamond watch and necklace, and a diamond encrusted Yankees ring from their 1998 World Series championship season.
The pieces were stolen from the home on South 7th Street sometime between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 24.
