Police say five people were injured when a boat hit a jetty in the Great South Bay in Sayville Saturday night.

Police say five people were injured when a boat hit a jetty in the Great South Bay in Sayville Saturday night.
They say the 23-foot vessel hit the jetty around 8:30 p.m. off Browns River Road.
News 12 is told when Suffolk Marine Bureau officers arrived on the scene, the six passengers on board were standing on the jetty.
Police say five of the passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
