A Roslyn Heights woman is accused of leaving her 3-year-old son unattended, allowing the toddler to wonder across nearby train tracks.
Police say Janet McIntosh, 43, went to do laundry down the street from her apartment Sunday and left her son playing with another toddler. Cops say they got word that the child was wandering around near a different Laundromat.
McIntosh is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She received $1,000 bail Monday and was ordered to stay away from her son until a family court judge decides on the case.
The 3-year-old is currently in the custody of a family friend.
