Reyes was also charged with criminal mischief and criminal possession of a forged instrument after police found him with a forged New Jersey state license.
Ficarro pleaded not guilty on Monday.
Defense attorney Christopher Graziano says they will to look at surveillance video and police reports that could be used in the case.
As News 12 has reported, there has been an uptick in crime at the mall and police have stepped up their patrols to monitor the area.
