Police: 2nd teen arrested for spray painting swastikas on Merrick playground

Both teens are charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and aggravated harassment.

A second teenager has been arrested for allegedly spray-painting swastikas on a Merrick playground.
The incident happened in July at the Chatterton School on Merrick Avenue.
Police say the teenager arrested Thursday is from Bellmore. They say he and another 14-year-old from Freeport, who was arrested two weeks ago, spray painted two large swastikas.
Both teens are charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and aggravated harassment.
