A 21-year-old man was killed in a crash in Ronkonkoma Friday, Suffolk County police say.

Police say Brandon Niles was riding the quad on Lakeland Avenue around 8 p.m. when he hit a car going through the intersection at Marconi Avenue.

Niles was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His brother, who was driving a second quad alongside him was able to avoid the crash and was not hurt.

The driver and passenger in the car involved were also unharmed.
