Officials say two people were injured when their plane slid off the runway Sunday night at around 9 p.m.
Police say the plane's landing gear failed to deploy properly, and the plane slid off the runway.
News 12 is told the two people inside the plane were taken to NUMC in East Meadow, and treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.
