The remains of two of the three people found inside a Burlington home last week have been identified, Connecticut State Police said Monday.

Police have identified the pair as Sally Ann Cash and Brian Cash and confirmed they are mother and son.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Monday that the causes of death are pending. The Chief Medical Examiner says the third person is still undergoing DNA testing to confirm their identity.

The remains were discovered on June 14 by a person who purchased the Stanwich Lane home at a foreclosure auction. At the time, authorities said they did not believe there was anything suspicious or criminal about the incident.

State police also described the incident as isolated and said there was no danger to the public.
