Police: 2 men stabbed in Port Jefferson Station

Police say two people have been stabbed in Port Jefferson Station.
According to police, a man was walking on Jayne Boulevard at approximately 9 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of a passing Jeep slowed down and yelled something at him.
Police say the man ran to a nearby friend's house as the Jeep followed. The driver of the Jeep and a passenger then exited the vehicle and attacked him.
Two occupants of the house heard the commotion and came to the man's aid, police say.
During the altercation, the two occupants of the house suffered stab wounds and were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects fled in the Jeep, and police say there is no clear motive.
