Two Suffolk County men accused of taking part in an unlawful speeding contest are facing multiple charges, according to police.

Officers say they witnessed two vehicles racing each other at speeds of 109 mph around 9:45 p.m.

Police cited 20-year-old Randy Lopez and 20-year-old Evan Hacker for illegal speeding contest, reckless driving and multiple misdemeanors.

The duo will be arraigned in court on Feb. 27.
